Healthy Eating Guidelines for Students
At break times, students are required to bring their own snacks. These snacks must adhere to the guidelines set by the Swaminarayan Sect. Specifically:
-
Vegetarian Only: Snacks should be purely vegetarian (Lacto-Vegetarian). They must not contain onion, garlic, egg, or any other non-vegetarian ingredients.
-
Parental Responsibility: Parents are responsible for ensuring that all snack products meet these criteria.
-
Mahaprasad Option: Additionally, students now have the option to purchase food from Mahaprasad.
-
Promoting Healthy Choices: We encourage healthy eating and homemade snacks.
-
Avoid Sugary Drinks: During our sessions, we strongly advise children against consuming fizzy drinks or beverages with high sugar content. Instead, we recommend that students stay hydrated by drinking water.
